Updated Quantum Edge Ratings on the “Mag 7”

I joked in Monday’s Power Trends that we should just close the stock market in August and September. I take it back… I think. Stocks have improved since Monday’s selloff – though I expect more volatility ahead in this typically bumpy time of year. But the main reason I “take it back” is that we would miss one of the four quarterly earnings seasons of the year. For a quant guy like me, the data in those reports is the lifeblood of our fundamental analysis.

Power Trends+: Buying Opportunities During this Turbulent Time

Yes, stocks are down, and that can be painful. But market-wide drops also bring an incredible opportunity to buy superior stocks at lower prices. In today’s Power Trends+, we’ll talk about what exactly is going on with the market and show you some powerful studies that you’ll want to check out during this volatility.

Avoid This Costly Mistake When Stocks Turn Volatile

Can we just close the stock market in August and September? I’m kidding, of course. Sort of. I’m not the only one in favor of this idea. My friend Louis Navellier is on board, and I don’t think it would take much effort to get most of Wall Street to hop on the bandwagon. Most of those pros are out of town in August anyway. Summer is supposed to be the slower-paced relaxing time of the year, but August and September do a pretty good job of raining on that parade. And it looks as if this year will follow the script.

These Underdog Stocks Are Set for Gold

I think we can all agree that those underdog moments make far better stories and are more inspirational than when we see the best of the best win once again (though those moments can also be exciting). Like the Olympics and other sporting events, some specific areas of the stock market are having their underdog moment. We’ve talked about what’s going on in recent Power Trends issues, but I wanted to provide even more incredible data as this small-cap rally continues. It’s that important.

Power Trends+: Analyzing Your Stock Requests in an Instant

Our list of ticker requests continues to grow, and I love it! You and your fellow readers have sent in some incredible recommendations. Even those with less-than-ideal Quantum Scores are important to look at. They show us what we want to stay away from, which is just as important as knowing what makes a company worthwhile. In today’s Power Trends+, I’ll showcase what my system is all about. It’s the quickest way I know to analyze a stock, and it powers my recommendations in my Quantum Edge Pro service.

My One Defining Moment Can Make You Money

We’ve all experienced a defining moment. That “aha!” moment where everything just clicks. We make a clear connection from something that’s been there the whole time. Sometimes we realize it right away; other times it becomes clear in hindsight. For me, it was an aha moment that played out for a month, but it all started with a phone call.

The Mag Seven Are Suddenly the Drag 7. Is That an Opportunity for Us?

This week got off to a rocky start after two of the “Magnificent Seven” tech stocks reported earnings. Both Apple (AAPL) and Tesla (TSLA) reported on Wednesday, sending stocks lower in the worst day since 2022. The results clearly weren’t awful, but it was part of the rotation we’re seeing out of large-cap tech stocks into smaller stocks and sparked some fears for what could happen as more mega-cap tech stocks report next week. Let’s take a look at what happened.

Phase 2 of the AI Revolution Is Here – Thanks to This AI Breakthrough

Longtime Power Trends readers know about what I call The Great Convergence. It’s the next phase of the massive technology revolution that will lead to unimaginable breakthroughs, and it will be made possible when artificial intelligence joins forces with quantum computing and next-generation networking. It’s a tremendous opportunity for investors, as well as a potential danger. I’m sure we will continue talking about it for years to come. And today, I want to share the insights and analysis of Louis Navellier with you. He is a legendary quant investor who has helped a lot of people make a lot of money through the years.

Power Trends+: Your Top Requested Stocks

There’s a lot going on right now! The market is giving us whiplash, quickly moving on from the previously loved mega-cap tech stocks to giving small-caps a boost higher. We’re in the midst of earnings season, which always has its ups and downs. And, well, this crazy election year might also be giving you whiplash.  We’ve talked (or will talk) about all these things in regular Power Trends issues, so today, we decided to keep it simple and focus on stocks.
